Fluxx Exchange
Profile levels
Every profile shows one of four levels. A level says who keeps the profile current and how complete it is. It doesn't rate the organization, and it never shows which funders the organization works with.
Unclaimed
How a profile gets here
Every organization starts here, built from IRS records.
What it tells a funder
Public records only. Nobody at the organization has confirmed them.
Claimed
How a profile gets here
Someone proves they work there. Today that's an email at the organization's website domain.
What it tells a funder
A person at the organization keeps this profile current.
Complete 2026
How a profile gets here
Every field that applies is filled in, financials for one of the two latest fiscal years are on file, and a steward confirmed it in the last 12 months. The year is the year of that confirmation.
What it tells a funder
Current, complete, and confirmed in the last 12 months.
Expired
How a profile gets here
Nobody at the organization has confirmed the profile for 12 months, or every steward has lapsed.
What it tells a funder
It was kept once, but the details may be out of date.
Renewing takes one click: a steward reviews the profile and confirms it's still right. The year on Complete is the year of that confirmation.
Complete shows to the profile's stewards, to Fluxx funders when the stewards share their updates with them, and to everyone when the stewards share their updates with everyone. Anyone else sees Claimed, because they see the public records only.
